The Senior Account Manager is a senior level liaison for clients and will interface with executive level leadership both internally and externally to ensure client goals and objectives are clearly defined and met. This position employs strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit management, managed care operations and market trends. Representing ClearScript programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers will position ClearScript for long-term growth in the competitive PBM marketplace.
The Senior Account Manager will have excellent consultative, project management, presentation, analytic and problem solving expertise and can adeptly use interpersonal, customer service and collaboration skills to build relationships, influence outcomes, drive client satisfaction and improve the client experience.
Responsibilities Job Description
Uses strong knowledge of PBM industry to:
Strategically plan, negotiate and influence the interactions and relationships with clients, their brokers/consultants and internal team members to achieve strategic account goals and grow business.
Lead the Account Team to ensure high level of service provided to client including collaborating, coaching and influencing stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction.
Serve as expert resource for the entire business portfolio while leading the client account planning cycle, creating a strategic retention and growth plan and delivering results.
Develop, implement and communicate key metrics and improvement activities to identify key trends, create value proposition for current and new products and highlight client’s strategic focus and business need.
Provide consultative services to clients regarding plan design and service improvement.
Responsible for timely and accurate analysis and decision making to support business performance, operational and financial objectives.
Qualifications
Required
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in business, health care or related field or the equivalent related work experience.
Experience
Five years account management or client services experience in healthcare or related field
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Excellent interpersonal and written communication and presentation skills
Preferred
Experience
One year account management or client services in PBM
