Chewy Senior Supply Chain Program Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, dedicated Senior Program Manager to join the growing Strategy and Network Planning team in Minneapolis, MN. Combining a background in program management with a deep understanding of Supply chain, you will be at the forefront of deciding where, when, and how to plan our network connectivity to support Chewy’s mid term and long term growth trajectory. You will partner with Data Scientists to build in house tools and systems, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Outbound Transportation, Operations, and Engineering to collect requirements, implement the solutions, measurements, and scale the business.
What You’ll Do:
Develop a mid to long term strategy for outbound network connectivity that optimizes for lowest transportation cost and speed goals.
Drive alignment with key stakeholders including Outbound Transportation, FC Operations, Routing System Teams to support producing and implementing connectivity strategy.
Work cross-functionally with business partners to gather requirements and inputs for model and develop roadmap for system development.
Identify the gaps in current processes and drive improvement by using data driven analytical skills.
Shaping strategic supply chain decisions by using data driven analysis and business intelligence Tools/Reporting.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field of study.
Five (5) years of related experience within project management and supply chain processes.
Deep understanding of Supply Chain concepts including transportation planning, capacity planning, inventory placement, inbound and outbound processes, and Network Optimization.
Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in SQL and Excel advanced modeling.
Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Bonus (if applicable):
E-commerce, Retail, or startup experience is a plus
Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
