National Marrow Donor Program DBA NMDP Senior Software Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Responsible for delivering successful technical solutions and supporting multiple cross functional teams, projects/domains. As a Full Stack Developer, this position is responsible for designing and implementing software applications utilizing the latest technologies and DevOps principles and must be proficient with a variety of technical concepts, practices, and procedures including Agile methodologies. Specific duties include: Work with team/independently to formulate system scope, objectives, requirement and design documentation. Write high quality, well-documented and scalable code choosing appropriate approved modern programming languages that suits developmental needs. Communicate and coordinate activities with cross-functional teams, Infrastructure and other members of the Development team. Maintain, support, and enhance applications including being part of on call rotation for production support. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to new employees and junior developers to enable effective software application development. Lead, direct, and work with team members to develop, maintain and improve critical internal and external applications. Adapt quickly to changing requirements, progresses and evolves goals and strategies, and implements emerging technologies as required. Ensure all programming, design, production control, data validation and quality control standards are met.
