Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the Senior Sales Director will cultivate strong working relationships with industry, service and market leaders as well as firm management to define strategic objectives and plans that drive the PSO's efforts to achieve the firm's growth and revenue goals. Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the industry sales team operating in key markets across the U.S., including business development and sales professionals focused in government and public services, healthcare, energy, industrial, and consumer products sectors.
  • Drive efforts for designing sales channels and allocating resources effectively.
  • Collaborate in firm-wide planning, sales resource allocation, and budgeting discussions to align sales objectives with overall business strategy.
  • Develop and implement sales growth strategies that align with go-to-market plans, incorporating best practices and innovative programs.
  • Direct the development of sales processes, playbooks, and tools to enhance sales effectiveness and support the industry sales team in achieving targets.
  • Create clear guidelines and performance measures for the business development team, ensuring accountability and effectiveness.
  • Inspire and guide the industry sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze m rket trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, principals, and internal teams, to enhance collaboration and drive sales growth.
  • Mentor and develop sales leadership within the team, ensuring succession planning and talent development.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales operations, sales enablement, sales development and industry practitioner teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience
  • Relevant sales management experience in a professional services firm
  • Demonstrated success managing a sales team and driving sales strategy
  • Ability to lead and provide exceptional client service and be able to work independently and effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Able to provide consultative and cross-functional leadership; ability to influence, lead and manage change
  • Tremendous project and relationship management skills, including the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Client relationship management (CRM), Salesforce experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%-30%) to various office locations and the ability to work outside of the core business hours
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinker, with superior judgment, and strong work ethic
