This position will require onsite presence two times a week in our Minneapolis, MN office. Overview: The Senior Manager, Product Managementoversees and interpretsmarket and competitiveresearch throughout the product lifecycle while addressing client product needs and executing strategic partnerships. This role works closely with Product and Sales to realize objectives, develop and support new and enhanced products, and expand client relationships. This job requires an understanding of the value of strategic investmentsin advancing major initiatives in support of the company business models for the industry and Inovalon. Duties and Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders and senior management; Collaborate closely with product, sales, marketing, finance, engineering, and regulatory teams; Execute strategic partnerships and serves as right hand to Senior Director on issues related to the evaluation of the programs, strategy, and planning within and across programs, and evaluation of opportunities for new programs and partnerships; Direct all aspects of product lifestyle and support regulatory and activities for new/existing products; On-going development of the product vision and strategy. Synthesize ideas on strategy, planning and execution of next generation of products. Building consensus and driving execution; Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features on an on-going basis. Defining opportunities and develop product mandates; Oversee the Regulatory and Policy initiatives and programs monitors changes and stability of policy programs; Prepares regular and on demand reports; Ensures effective communications are in place; Direct special projects, cross-program collaborations, one-time programs and time-limited working groups in which the key programs changes have a role or a stake; Evaluates policy issues, or other relevant internal or external issues, and advises the Senior Director and senior leadership of the impact on programs and makes recommendations for decision or action; Identifying and executing on new opportunities in regulatory strategy and policy, supporting the development and operationalization of cross-functional project teams, and overseeing project completion from initiation through to client delivery; Serving as a strategic partner with Inovalon's clients, generating interest from new clients and growing the strategic footprint among existing clients in support of products and solutions;and Maintain and explore product knowledge opportunities to expand advisory services and syndicated offerings related to policy and strategy by deepening the understanding of policy throughout Inovalon, creating future policy directions and related engagement opportunities; and keep abreast of industry trends. Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement; Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the p rpose of achieving operational and financial success of Employer; and We reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such. Job Requirements: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience within the healthcare industry is required; product management, design, and development preferred; Experience in policy and or regulatory background in a public organization; Demonstrated experience presenting clearly to and interacting with senior-level executives and high level of expertise in advocacy/issues and coalition-building; Experience in healthcare IT, software development and delivery, managed care preferred; Detailed knowledge of regulatory issues facing life science companies and the ability to guide clients in their strategic response. Breadth of understanding of products and solutions;and Solid professional standing and ability to establish personal credibility and be seen as a strategic and technical expert and partner by clients. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Policy, Healthcare Information Technology or related field required; and Master's degree in related fields is highly desired. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time); Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force; Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions Subject to inside environmental conditions; and Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
