SAIC Senior HR Reporting Analyst in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota
Description
SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior HR Reporting Analyst with advanced expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud, specifically in Oracle OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and Oracle BI Publisher. This role is centered on the creation, customization, and optimization of reports within Oracle Fusion Cloud to provide critical workforce insights. You will be responsible for leveraging OTBI and BI Publisher to develop robust, data-driven HR reports and dashboards, enabling HR and business leaders to make informed decisions.
As an integral part of the HR analytics team, you will collaborate closely with HR, IT, and other business groups to ensure high-quality, accurate reporting and the seamless integration of data into strategic HR planning and decision-making processes.
Key responsibilities:
Report Development & Customization
Develop and maintain a variety of HR reports using Oracle Fusion Cloud’s OTBI and BI Publisher tools.
Create and customize complex reports for key HR functions such as recruitment, employee turnover, compensation, and performance management using Oracle BI Publisher.
Design and generate dynamic reports that provide actionable insights and support strategic HR decisions.
HR Metrics & Dashboard Creation
Design and implement comprehensive, user-friendly HR dashboards using OTBI, ensuring that HR leaders have real-time access to critical metrics such as headcount, turnover, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and performance.
Utilize Oracle BI Publisher to develop both operational and executive-level reports to provide insights into HR KPIs, benchmarks, and trends.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Manipulate large datasets and produce customized HR reports with advanced filtering, formatting, and summarization to uncover key trends and actionable insights.
Collaborate with HR leadership to design reports that align with HR and organizational goals, delivering timely and accurate workforce data to support business decisions.
Data Integrity & System Optimization
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR systems by conducting regular audits and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
Work with HRIS and IT teams to streamline data collection and optimize the use of Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting tools, enhancing reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration & Consultation
Partner with HR business leaders to understand their reporting needs and provide consultative support on data-driven insights to inform workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
Train HR team members on how to generate reports, interpret data, and leverage Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher tools for enhanced decision-making.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Stay up-to-date with Oracle HCM and OTBI best practices, system updates, and new features in Oracle BI Publisher to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
Recommend process enhancements and optimizations to ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting while increasing the efficiency of the HR reporting function.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field and 6+ years of experience, or a master's degree and 4+ years of experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in HR data analysis or HRIS, preferably within a large organization.
Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, including expertise in Oracle OTBI and Oracle BI Publisher.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in creating and customizing reports and dashboards within Oracle OTBI and Oracle BI Publisher.
Strong proficiency in working with large datasets, report generation, and data manipulation in Oracle BI Publisher.
Ability to design and develop dynamic, visual dashboards and reports tailored to specific business needs.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, business leaders).
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with additional HRIS platforms or analytics tools.
Oracle HCM or HR Analytics certification.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Taleo or Oracle Cloud Recruiting.
