Ameriprise Financial Senior Digital Data Analyst (R23_0000001197) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Support modeling, data analysis, campaign execution, and database needs for assigned line of business. Manage large data sets, providing information-based decision logic and predictive modeling solutions, and translates modeling/analytic output into understandable/actionable business knowledge, insight and applications. Demonstrate strong technical/problem solving skills. Support multiple projects collaboratively. Key Responsibilities Help shape media and prospecting strategy through analysis of traffic sources, patterns, conversion trends, visitor pathways, abandonment analysis, and event performance delivering goals such as traffic, leads, sales, media efficiency and ROI. Validating tagging and usability within both Adobe Analytics UI as well as raw clickstream data - during feature releases as well as any necessary regression testing Identify opportunities for deep-dive analyses that drive tangible business results. Present data in a clear and compelling way to communicate insights, tell a story, and influence strategy. Work closely with business partners to develop pre-project measurement plans, develop reporting business requirements, technical analytics tagging requirements, and produce post launch reports. Participate as a project team member in intra-departmental and cross-departmental projects. Responsible for one or more analytic tools owned by the analytics team. Is a subject matter expert for those tools and create a strategy for maximizing their benefits and effectiveness. Assist in dataset creation including data extraction, derived and dependent variable creation, and data quality control processes for analytics, model development, and validation. May monitor execution of analytical solutions, including criteria specification, data sourcing, segmentation, analytics, selection, delivery, and back-end data capture results. Partner closely with leader and others to ensure proper delivery. Under direction of the Sr. Leader, collaborate with business leaders and/or analysts to provide analytical thought leadership and support for business problems. Help identify and interpret business needs, define high-level business requirements, strategy, technical risks, and scope. Develop, document, and communicate business-driven analytic solutions and capabilities, translating modeling and analytic output into understandable and actionable business knowledge. Embed analytic programs and tools. Ensure continued accuracy, relevancy, and effectiveness and track process improvements once deployed. Contribute to ongoing expansion of data science expertise and credentials by keeping up with industry best practices, developing new skills, and knowledge sharing. Work cross functionally to develop standardized/automated solutions and adopt best practices. Identify opportunities for improving the digital analytics team's internal operational processes. Help provide leadership on initiatives and manage contractors as needed. Required Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent of 6 years 1 to 3 years of relevant experience required. 1+ years of digital analytics experience developing meaningful KPIs, Solution Design References (SDR), reporting, insights, and interpreting results. 1+ years of experience conducting analyses of digital data using Adobe Analytics, Analysis Workspace. Digital analytics across multiple media types, advertising, social media and traffic sources (SEO/SEM, email, display, ads). Proficiency in Ad Tech industry and prospecting (lead gen) attribution analytics Expert in analytic storytelling and presentation, including PowerPoint and other presentation tools. Experience with statistical programming (SAS, R, Python, SQL etc.) & data visualization software (Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Excel, etc.) in a data-rich environment. Ability to present/communicate complex, technical materials in a way that facilitates decision making and drives outcomes; ability to communicate to less technical partners. Preferred Qualificati ns Experience conducting analyses of digital data using modern analytics tools and skills. Some technical understanding of analytics tagging and implementation. (DTM, Launch, Tealium, Segment, GTM). Experience with Customer Data Platforms and be able to have a plan to manage the transition to a post cookie world. Agency and media/SEO experience is a plus. Experience synthesizing results and analysis using visualizations and presentations for senior management audience. Proficiency using multivariate testing tools such as Target or Optimizely (or similar tool). Ability to work and thrive in collaborative work environment as well as independently to drive results. Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization. Managed integration of data feeds between cross channel properties such as email, CRM, Voice of Customer, data lakes, social media, and personalization campaigns. Team lead in one of the functional areas in digital analytics. ie: Voice of Customer, Agile, Email Analytics, A/B testing, etc. Experience with big data technologies which may include Hadoop, Cloud Computing Environments (including container creation, management & deployment), Spark, etc.
