Location - Downtown Minneapolis, MN (FULLY ONSITE)
Pay - $23.44/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Placement Type: 3 month contract with potential for growth!

Job Description Summary - Securities Operations: Covers jobs responsible for processing reconciling resolving and administering cash security or derivative transactions.
PROJECT SUMMERY
TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Securities Operations Representative in Business Operations as part of a Transactions Processing division.
DUTIES
Perform a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or process extensive knowledge of systems
Provide ideas for improving or implementing processes
Perform moderately complex duties such as processing researching inquires and reconciling transactions
Review time sensitive documents
Provide training or work direction to less experienced staff
Address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department
Lead or participate in projects
Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function policies procedures and compliance requirements
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
TOP SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
2 years of property and/or casualty insurance or related experience
Experience in Securities Operations
Demonstrated experience analyzing external insurance policies and contacting agents
Thorough understanding of residential and commercial property insurance coverages and policies
SOFT SKILLS
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems applications and utilize search tools to find information
Ability to research and report on a variety of issues and possess solid problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently proactively innovatively and creatively while exercising sound judgment
