Date Posted: September 27, 2021 Department: 16001171 Revenue Cycle Management Vendor Management Shift: Day (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Union Contract: Non-Union Weekend Rotation: None Job Summary: Coordinates services by acting as the company liaison with vendors to ensure vendor performance meets defined expectations. Initiates and maintains key relationships with vendors, revenue cycle leaders, and various information technology departments. May negotiate on behalf of the company for the best value of services which support operations and business objectives. Job Description: Principle Responsibilities Collaborates with revenue cycle operations to actively manage vendor partners. Builds and manages strong relationships with vendors. Prepares regular updates focusing on vendor services, risks, issues, and continuous improvement opportunities. Assists with the development and communication of standards, processes, and procedures for new vendor onboarding. Management of vendor and customer communications. Point of contact for all vendor escalations. Assists with development of requests for proposals (RFPs). Provides invoice reconciliation and management; address any pricing discrepancies on contract items. Understands business needs and vendor offerings to make recommendations to stakeholders for how to move forward. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements High School or GED required and Bachelor's degree in business management, finance or related field preferred 5 to 7 years of experience with managing vendor relationships required and Less than 2 years of health care revenue cycle operations experience preferred Leadership Capabilities See the Big Picture: Know where we are going as an organization.
