Honeywell Reliability Engineer I - Relocation Assistance in Minneapolis, Minnesota

As a Hardware Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies in Minneapolis, you will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and improving complex systems for aerospace applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out at our Minneapolis, Minnesota location. This role is required to be mostly onsite with some flexibility to work remote occasionally after the first 90 days.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerospace technologies that shape the future of air travel. Your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft systems. You will contribute directly to the long life and high reliability of complex systems used on commercial aircraft, defense applications, and in space navigation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test and evaluate electro-mechanical systems for aerospace applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful determination of root cause and implementation of corrective actions (RCCA)

• Conduct testing and evaluate sophisticated system performance

• Ensure compliance with product and customer requirements

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues

Track and maintain regular progress on items under test

• Summarize and present findings to customer

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The annual base salary range for this position is $68,200 - $85,200. Please note that this

salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various

responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education

and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 0-1 years of experience

  • Strong knowledge of design principles and methodologies

  • Superb math and organization skills

  • Experience with system testing and validation

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics

  • Experience in the aerospace industry

  • Experience with pursuit of root cause and corrective action (RCCA)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience leading a diverse investigation team
