This is a 32 hour per week position. Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Responsible for subject recruitment, including initial screening and diagnostic/clinical assessment (40%) *Responsible for basic maintenance tasks related to general lab functioning (10%) *Oversee the conversion of study design into daily protocols (10%) *Monitor and manage administration and scoring of neuropsychological testing on human research subjects using standardized protocols (10%) *Facilitate quality control protocols on data collection and management. (10%) *Handle IRB renewals, modifications, and submissions (10%) *Assist with running participants through EEG collection (10%) Qualifications Required Qualifications: * BA/BS with at least 2 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 6 years. * Experience in working with IRBs to obtain study approval and maintain study approval by submitting required documents * Experience administering cognitive tests to individuals with severe mental illness * Experience in performing structured diagnostic interviews to individuals with severe mental illness. * Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to achieve desired goals Preferred Qualifications: * At least 2 years of related research experience * Experience or familiarity in areas: customer service, transportation, information technology, mental health services * Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, File maker Pro and Access * Good problem solving skills; Good oral and written communication skills * Ability to work with clients and program staff from diverse cultural and social class backgrounds About the Department The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences consists of an outstanding team of researchers, clinicians, and educators who provide world-class expertise in psychiatric illness, treatment, scholarship, and scientific discovery.
