Job Title: Senior /Principal Project ManagerJob Description
We are looking for a Senior /Principal Project Manager to coordinate with internal firmware/software architects and third-party vendors for the development of an implantable medical device. The device is a pulse generator technology that interfaces with clinical programmers and patient devices.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed plans in alignment with the strategic objectives of the program, including master schedules, budgets, program milestones, and key program tasks and deliverables.
Provide guidance and direction to the core team as necessary to define clear goals and evaluate progress.
Identify and assist in clearing barriers to effective progress.
Resolve program resource issues and facilitate the reallocation of activities and efforts to ensure schedules are achieved.
Conduct financial evaluation of programs.
Facilitate all core team meetings and track progress against the project plan.
Comply with US FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Essential Skills
Engineering Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
10 years of experience in engineering.
8+ years of Project/Program Management Experience.
8+ years of experience with medical devices.
Experience with Class III Medical Devices.
Experience coordinating/managing projects utilizing third-party vendor relationships.
Program management.
Project management.
Firmware Development.
Clinical Product Development.
Systems Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Firmware/Software Project Leadership.
PMP certification.
MS Project proficiency.
Experience in research and development.
Product development engineering.
Experience with hardware and software integration.
Work Environment
This role is hybrid, requiring 1 day per week onsite in Minnesota. The role may require limited travel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $110.00
