Robert Half Power BI Developer & Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description
Robert Half has been engaged by a Minnesota-based manufacturing company as they expand their CPM (OneStream), leveraging Microsoft Fabric & Azure platforms alongside a robust data warehouse.
We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Developer with Financial Analyst experience who appreciates the significance of data and analytics in the business world. The ideal candidate will function as a bridge between the IT/Data Engineering function and the FP& A function. While the primary focus lies on the technical side of Power BI (75%), the role involves financial analyst knowledge (25%).
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Power BI dashboard and reports specific to FP& A
Analyze financial data and create forecasting and financial models
Utilize Power BI and DAX to conduct data analytics
Collaborate with IT/Data Engineering and FP& A teams to understand and meet reporting and data analytics needs
Translate complex technical data and analysis into strategic insights to drive business decisions
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer and a Financial Analyst
Strong knowledge in OneStream, Microsoft Fabric & Azure, Power BI, data warehousing
Proficiency in DAX and financial modeling
Strong strategic and analytical skills to bridge the gap between IT/Data Engineering and the FP& A team
Excellent cloud computing, data modeling, business intelligence, and data visualization skills
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
