Are you a student seeking some hands on experience helping our amazing physicians in a busy emergency department?
We at M Health Fairview are looking for a Physician Scribe to join our team at the University of MN Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. We are approved for a 0.7 FTE (56 hours per pay period) on the day/evening/night shift with an every other weekend requirement.

Responsibilities Job Description
Job Summary:
The scribe follows the emergency physician into the patient's room and enters information into a computer using a specifically crafted template.
Job Responsibilities:
assigned to work with one emergency physician per shift and demonstrate extensive knowledge of medical terminology
accompany the physician upon patient interview and exam and display outstanding customer service skills.
Document physical findings as performed by the physician accurately demonstrating excellent computer proficiency and literacy
document accurate times of patient care related activated
Qualifications
Our ideal candidates will have:
Completion of 2-3 years college course work toward a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-med, Nursing, or Physican Assistant
