Robert Half Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a diligent Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be aiding in various HR functions, such as HRIS system management, employee relations, and compliance. Your daily tasks will revolve around helping employees with their inquiries, maintaining confidentiality of personal information, and assisting with payroll functions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a helpdesk for HRIS, assisting employees in accessing their mobile devices and answering their questions.

• Handle data entry tasks within the HRIS system, ensuring the confidentiality of personal information at all times.

• Participate in hiring processes, including managing applications and offer systems through the HRIS system.

• Assist with payroll functions when needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Track and maintain I9s, conducting filing tasks as required.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned, ensuring all responsibilities align with HR policies and procedures.

• Utilize HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems and HRIS Database for efficient management of HR tasks.

• Apply skills in HRIS System to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role

• Knowledge of Compliance within a HR setting

• Experience in handling Employee Relations

• Proficiency in using HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Experience in operating HRIS System

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of confidentiality and professional discretion

• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
