MIG Welder
Job Description
Perform horizontal and vertical MIG welding on a variety of materials, primarily aluminum, with occasional work on steel and stainless steel. Welds range from 18-gauge to 3/8". Occasionally perform TIG welding as needed and use various types of welding wire. Inspect welds using visual methods, with some welds requiring certification. Work alongside 4-5 other welders per shift.
Responsibilities
Perform horizontal and vertical MIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
Conduct TIG welding as required.
Use .360 wire, 4043 wire, 5356 wire, and .035 wire on occasion.
Inspect own welds using visual inspection methods.
Ensure some welds are certified as required.
Collaborate with a team of 4-5 welders per shift.
Essential Skills
1+ year of welding experience (either school or on-the-job).
Ability to read weld blueprints and symbols.
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding experience (either school or on-the-job) is preferred.
Experience with fabrication, blueprint reading, and aluminum welding.
Skills in flux core welding, stainless steel welding, grinding, and use of hand tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.55 - $24.55
