Wells Fargo Midwest Community Relations Senior Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Social Impact Senior Manager to lead a team of geographically based public affairs professionals responsible for overseeing local philanthropic giving, community development, reputation risk management, and stakeholder engagement for the states of Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

In this role, you will:

• Manage a team responsible for achieving positive societal impact and brand reputation enhancement for the company.

• Develop innovative strategies with measurable outcomes that align with social impact and business initiatives and position the company as corporate citizenship leader.

• Partner with community organizations, government officials, and key stakeholders within the community.

• Support a strong risk culture and compliance with federal, state and local banking regulations.

• Partner with Community Relations Head to develop a high-performing, supportive team culture that embraces principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Required Qualifications, US:

• 6+ years of Social Impact or Sustainability experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 3+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience developing strategic plans for community-based initiatives on behalf of a Fortune 500 company

• Experience driving transformational change objectives to align with philanthropic initiatives

• Experience leading, high-performing geographically dispersed, cross-functional diverse teams

• Experience partnering with community organizations such as non-profits and activist groups

• Experience presenting information that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels

• Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations

Job Expectations:

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

• Preferred location(s) listed above. Other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint may be considered. Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid arrangement.
