These responsibilities include all shipping, receiving, stocking, issuing, security, cycle counting, and proper disposal of all aircraft parts and related materials. Essential roles and responsibilities of the Materials Coordinator: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Perform shipping of all outgoing materials and ensuring compliance of paperwork retention; such as electronically filing shipping documents for all outgoing hazardous shipments. Perform initial receiving of all incoming materials. Monitor all loans, borrows, and exchanges to ensure they are processed and returned expeditiously, while ensuring cores meet contract return requirements. Communicate order receiving discrepancies to the appropriate Buyer/Repair Coordinator for proper resolution. Issue materials in accordance with Sun Country Airlines' policy and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure parts returned to Materials are properly tagged and identified by Maintenance as serviceable or unserviceable. Perform cycle counts. Return parts to stock in accordance with Sun Country Airlines' policy and procedures. Administration and tracking of material allocated to outstations, fly-away kits, COMAT, consignment inventory, and off-site storage facilities. Ensure parts are stored properly to prevent damage and contamination. Responsible for physical removal of all monthly shelf-life expired items from inventory. Maintain files with current revision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines. Other duties as assigned. Classification:Full-time, Non-Exempt Working Location:This position is open in Minneapolis, MN The qualifications we are looking for in a Materials Coordinator include: High School diploma Valid driver's license is required Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Ability to work independently without supervision Ability to read, write and understand English Very good oral and written communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work a variety of hours including weekdays and weekends Preferred skills Two years of previous experience with inventory control and warehouse operations Additional Information This position works a shift schedule, 12-hour day or evening shift rotating four days on and four days off; subject to change based on operational requirements. Shifts are assigned by bid process and awarded based on seniority. Uniform is required, provided by SCA. Must be able to obtain MSP SIDA badge. Work Environment This job works in a hangar and stockroom, which are subject to dust and noise due to their close proximity of airport runways and hangar operations. This position also must work in inclement weather conditions. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift frequently and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and team lift up to 120 pounds.
