Job Description

Develops and leads the marketing strategy for the Commercial Bank and is committed to delivering creative, customer-centric, multi-channel marketing programs to maximize customer growth, retention, and engagement.

This person will bring a high-level of energy, sense of urgency, collaborative spirit, financial expertise, and a creative approach to accelerate engagement, pipeline building and revenue. This person will bring a client focused approach and will manages professional employees and/or supervisors of complex support, production marketing team(s).

This individual will identify and communicate key performance indicators to ensure marketing strategies are yielding positive return on investment as well as to modify and optimize digital marketing strategies, as necessary. In addition, this individual will develop specific marketing strategies and media to launch marketing programs and/or products in collaboration with agencies, product, sales, and technical team

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual strategic marketing plan.

  • Establish relationships with key internal stakeholders to accelerate marketing campaign development and deployment.

  • Develop a consistent go-to-market strategy to launch campaigns effectively to the Commercial Bank team.

  • Identify cadence for establishing key performance indicators, and reporting campaign results.

  • Responsive to changing environment warranting – sense of urgency on campaigns, communications, and PR.

  • Manage the digital agencies in support of client acquisition and Building Deeper Relationships (BDR) initiatives.

  • Manage Commercial Banking budget.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement Team to create synergies for retention and acquisition.

  • Thorough understanding of digital segmentation, audience orchestration and account-based marketing.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of assigned geographical area, competitive market, banking operations, and U.S. Bancorp's products and services

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and team building skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to executive leadership

  • Agility in thinking and delivery, along with proven ability to take direction in support of company goals

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and assignments that are completed on time and on budget

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages

  • MBA or equivalent markers of high achievement are a plus

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00
