Summary

This position will be responsible for creating and executing internal and external communications and brand programs which support and promote Kraus-Anderson.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates, writes and edits print and electronic news, features, marketing and promotional materials, publications, collateral for internal, community, public and/or media dissemination including but not limited to press releases, magazine articles, web copy, speeches, letters, banners, etc.

  • Proofs internal communications and other promotional / marketing materials for grammar, readability and alignment to corporate communications requirements including branding and visual standards.

  • Coordinates with other areas of the organization to create original content for internal communications/newsletter, blog, etc.

  • Creates dynamic campaigns for web and social media in collaboration with marketing team and technical staff.

  • Assists in website management, SEO research & copywriting, and analytics (Google and social media)

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field or equivalent with three+ years related experience and/or training

  • Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database and marketing related software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals

  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

  • Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others

  • Frequently sits, stands and talks.

  • Vision abilities require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Must work and climb on a jobsite to review or inspect work progress.

Ability to maneuver on ladders and scaffolding, walk through sand or mud, climb on and around vehicles and construction equipment.

Salary Range: $28 to $37 hourly

Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
