Manager of Adult Services Overview: NorthPoint has been providing health care and human services in North Minneapolis for over 50 years. Purpose: The Manager of Adult Services is responsible for positioning and aligning a diverse set of services as a part of meeting NorthPoint's strategic agenda. The Manager will need to possess proven success in leading, supervising, aligning and mentoring staff as well as excellent interpersonal, management, and conflict resolution skills. This position requires a resourceful problem solver with attention to detail and a seeker of excellence who values results, customer service and teamwork. General Job Statement: The Manager of Adult Services is a key member of NorthPoint's Human Services Management Team. This position will systematically lead the delivery of a whole person integrated care model across all assigned programs. This position will be responsible for leading, aligning and managing the intervention and wrap around health and human services focused on African American men and adults. Will be a champion of diversity, inclusion and embracing cultural differences while honoring everyone's dignity, individual thought process, and unique contributions. Is a clear communicator who is approachable, empathetic, understanding, and receptive to any concerns that may affect a guest's stability across all human service programming. Understands how to lead with a servant attitude recognizing it is about the collective strength of the organization and how we all work together. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Non-profit Management, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field and five (5) years of related experience working in career a in a community health and human services environment. Associates degree in Human Services, Non-profit Management, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience working in a community health and human services environment. High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of related experience working in a community health and human services environment. Three (3) years of managerial/supervisory experience in a community based non-profit environment, managing diverse staff and cross functional projects with other managers. Two (2) years of grants and contract management. Two (2) years of experience implementing culturally based program and service responses to individuals from marginalized communities. Proven record of accomplishment of designing and executing successful personal empowerment and programs and meeting program metrics. Ability to form and maintain internal and external partnerships that support the organizational mission, values, and goals. D monstrated knowledge and ability to use internal data and research from other sources to formulate program design and program improvement strategies for the delivery of customer focused integrative human services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high-level attention to detail, maintaining clear and effective dialog with all levels of employees, Guests and the community. Advance PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams as well as proficiency with various technology including mobile devices.
