Wells Fargo Lead Credit Risk Officer / Unsecured Lending in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Risk Officer in the Consumer Unsecured Lending Risk organization supporting the Data & Decision Infrastructure Team. This role will deliver insights and decision strategies to maximize profits and/or asset growth, mitigate credit risk, manage operating losses and other risk exposures. Covers jobs responsible for strategy/model implementation, data integrity, data aggregation, analysis, and interpretation in support of the monitoring and oversight of the credit portfolio, market risk or capital.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
Review and analyze complex strategies, programs and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture
Receive direction from leaders
Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal and external customers
Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management
Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics
Required Qualifications, US:
- 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Hands on experience, knowledge, development and maintaining of SAS and SQL
Hands-on experience, knowledge and understanding of translating business requirements into functional design, drafting user story, test cases and test scripts
Hands-on experience working with projects using Agile methodology and JIRA to document user stories and track issues
Job Expectations:
Work collaboratively and effectively with technical partners, business partners and strategy experts to help implement strategies, segmentation models and new technologies
Develop and implement data framework that is designed to manage and triangulate the complexity among processes, strategies and workflows
Responsible for process production, data reconciliation and model documentation in alignment with policy governance
Lead large scale cross functional/cross business unit projects and regulatory responses
Motivate teams and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
Effectively work on a highly diverse team who are geographically dispersed across multiple time zones located in the U.S and India
