Associated Bank National Infrastructure Engineer - Network DevOps in Minneapolis, Minnesota

This role will utilize automation tools like Ansible, Python, Git, Github, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Jenkins to help accelerate our on prim hybrid cloud Infrastructure As Code transformation, while bringing Network fundamentals to the table as well. This person will, Document new design standards and improvements on existing processes. Perform incident and problem management. Troubleshoot connectivity or communication problems to determine root cause. Communicate with service providers and partners for corrective action. Identify root cause for any outage or disruption of service. Prepare equipment to support end users at offices and branch locations using the appropriate tools, manuals and vendor support. Support the installation and repair of products and services. Review utilization and availability reports using in house tools and third party vendor solutions to identify problems and take corrective action. Organize, manage, maintain and track hardware and software inventory records using network management software. Maintain current network diagrams and documentation as required to aide in ongoing support of complex inter-connected systems and equipment. Monitor infrastructure to maintain desired capacity for existing and new applications. Recommend changes for improvements. Life cycle management of equipment for security, stability, and desired features. Begin product owner thought processes to identify improvement opportunities. Requirements Education Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Data Networking Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or Business Administration Preferred Experience 2-5 years Configuring, installing and troubleshooting various infrastructure elements. Knowledge of basic concepts around network, server, client and telephony. Exposure to troubleshooting approaches, configuration management, and change control procedures with recovery paths. Creating and managing documentation, following standard operating procedures and general system maintenance.
