Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Graphic Design Specialist to join the Taylor Marketing Center of Excellence team! This department is responsible for creating a variety of dynamic graphical assets and creative collateral across print, digital and multimedia, in support of business teams across the Taylor organization. Your Responsibilities: Create engaging designs, impactful visual experiences, and on-brand graphics that meet stakeholder expectations for a variety of marketing and media channels (e.g., marketing and sales collateral, visual presentations, social media graphics, newsletters, website graphics, emails, traditional and digital advertising, animations, signage, packaging, tradeshows, omnichannel campaigns, catalogs and so much more). Maintain positive relationships by working both collaboratively and independently at varying capacities within a high-performing team of marketers, designers, content specialists, creators and project managers. Absorb feedback and efficiently translate it into focused, creative solutions. Follow standards and procedures utilizing creative project management platform, time tracking, communication and design systems. Organize, prioritize and multitask successfully in a deadline-intensive environment. Support brand awareness and development by contributing to the Taylor visual brand design system and graphic toolkits. Learn, understand and live Taylor United every day. You Must Have: Exceptional creativity, a keen eye for aesthetics and design, an understanding of the creative process, and a strong portfolio of work. Creative problem-solving capabilities and strong knowledge of the latest graphic design trends. Ability to take the lead on creative projects from research and ideation to concept development and execution, keeping leaders and team members informed along the way. Advanced technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign). Experience working in a project management workflow with automation that allows you to focus on the creative work. Capacity to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and adjust focus based on shifting priorities, including the flexibility and willingness to complete unexpected projects efficiently. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to develop creative ideas based on business direction and feedback. A strong creative background that enables you to take an active role in providing valuable feedback to creative peers during critiques and collaborations. Advanced communications skills; verbal, written, visual, interpersonal, etc., utilizing online video conferencing and communication tools daily. A growth mindset and commitment to performing as a team and maintaining a culture where supporting your peers is a priority. Bachelor's degree in graphic arts or related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Advanced knowledge of print design and print processes/capabilities. A sense of humor and the ability to have fun doing what you love.
