The Opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Food and Beverage Intern to join our team at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota for Baseball Season 2024. Are you an energetic undergraduate or graduate student who’s seeking an incredible paid internship program? Delaware North internships are paid and can be completed for academic credit. This internship is available for for Spring or Summer and will end at the end of the team's baseball season. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and make an impact in a global company.

Responsibilities
Maintain open communication with clients regarding orders in all premium dining areas.
Assist with catering functions as needed.
Uphold guest service standards. Investigate food quality and service complaints.
Prepare various operational reports; keep records pertaining to sales and requisitions.
Assist Premium Managers and Supervisors with data entry and administrative tasks.
Learning Objectives:
Learn how to run a shift and do all daily operations.
Learn about profit & loss, inventory management, labor, and cost of goods.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Pursuing a Degree in Hospitality is preferred
Software/Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Other Skills or Experience: Exceptional presentation and communication skills. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures. Familiar with standard food and beverage equipment. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Self-starter and able to work independently.
