Nvent Management Company Document Mgmt Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: In this position, you will get to: * Manage receiving, distribution, filing, storing of project documents following the company established standard document control processes and guidelines and/or customer specific requirements. * Process engineering, construction and project services documents and ensure accuracy and timeliness of distribution. * Assist inside sales, engineering and/or project team ensuring document control requirements are satisfactorily met. * Manual reproduction and/or electronic reproduction of virtual documents. * Maintain databases and file structure folders for each open project. * Manage and document latest issuance of various documentation. * Maintain orderly files of originals, revisions, and electronic images within predefined project file structure to ensure ease and reliability of document retrieval. YOU HAVE: * 3-5 years Engineering Document Control experience (prefer experience with an engineering / construction firm). * Knowledge of commonly used Document Management concepts, practices, and procedures. * Intermediate knowledge of industrial engineering and construction standards and terminology. * Proficiency of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) - such as SharePoint, and client FTP sites (i.e., Aconex, Fusion Live, Core Worx) experience. * Working knowledge of MicroStation is an asset. * Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office based software (Outlook, Excel, Word), OneDrive, Teams, Bluebeam * Has a strong attention to detail and can provide high quality all while adhering to strict customer deadlines. * Works well in team environment, strong focus on customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers).
