This includes recruiting top talent, developing individual and team skills, and ensuring our student-athletes perform at their best both on the field and academically. Key Responsibilities: 20% Recruiting: Develop and implement a recruiting strategy for sustainable offensive success. Identify needs on offense and defense to build a competitive P5 roster. Identify, recruit, and commit immediate impact transfer student-athletes (SAs). Identify, recruit, and commit future impact high school prospective student-athletes (PSAs). 20% Offensive Player Development: Create and deploy short and long-term strategies for each hitter on the team. Work within NCAA allotted hours to maximize SA player development. Utilize technology and data to guide objective measurements and track progress. Regularly connect with SAs to ensure cohesiveness and alignment with team goals. 20% Defensive Player Development: Create and deploy short and long-term strategies for each fielder on the team. Work within NCAA allotted hours to maximize SA player development. Utilize technology and data to guide objective measurements and track progress. Regularly connect with SAs to ensure cohesiveness. Prepare and implement a long-term development plan for catchers. 20% Practice Responsibilities: Implement and rehearse system defenses, including but not limited to: Cuts and relays 1st and 3rd defense Bunt defense Special teams/situations Practice daily fundamentals for every position on the field. Aid in the offensive instruction of hitters. Aid in the instruction of baserunning. Coach the catchers in fundamentals, including but not limited to: Blocking Receiving Throwing 10% Game Responsibilities: Engage in high-level advanced scouting of opponents. Prepare opposing pitcher & hitter reports and strategies. Prepare a defensive shifting report to best prepare the defense for batted balls. Manage in-game defensive strategy and player positioning. Shift players on the field to ensure the highest probability of positive outcomes. Call defensive systems with a keen understanding of the game situation. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field. 5+ years of coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level. Strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with technology and data analytics tools used in player development. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Sports Management, Exercise Science, Leadership, or a related field. Previous experience as an Offensive Coordinator. Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing high-level athletes.
