Avera is currently seeking a highly motivated Director of Consumer Engagement with experience in market analysis, consumer engagement, product development, and business planning within the health care industry

Job Summary
The Director of Consumer Engagement leads the development and implementation of comprehensive consumer engagement strategies within our health system by defining and developing strategies to integrate Voice of the Customer (VOC) in marketing strategies, customer relationship strategies, business planning, growth and expansion initiatives, and other strategic initiatives.
This role will also lead market intelligence gathering, vetting, analyses and planning for all marketing development, business planning and growth initiatives to enhance Avera’s market position for health care services, insurance and other business areas.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related filed is required. Master’s degree preferred.
Ten plus years’ experience in planning, evaluation, and implementation of healthcare strategies is preferred.
Proven experience in market analysis, consumer engagement, product development, and business planning within the health care industry.
Strong understanding of customer relationship management principles and strategies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
