Eide Bailly Compliance Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Location: All Locations in the United States Work Arrangement: 100% Remote, In-office or Hybrid A Day in the Life: The Compliance Manager facilitates the Firm's compliance with regulatory requirements for its professional practices (Tax, Assurance, Advisory), serve as a key contributor to the Firm's vendor oversight program, and provide support for other Risk Management and Legal initiatives. This position will be visible throughout the Firm with frequent contact with practice office professionals, personnel working in operational Departments, clients, and third-party providers. Oversees and manages independence and other compliance-related processes in support of firmwide procedures. Performs regularly occurring compliance processes, monthly Quality Control (QC) checks, daily conflict and independence checks, and restricted entity updates. Oversees annual state professional licensing requirements and renewals. Assists in the development and administration of processes and procedures around licensing, including developing policies, procedures, and templates related to onboarding and offboarding. Assists with data maintenance and destruction procedures. Collaborates with other operational Departments, including Legal, Finance, Learning & Development, HR, and OST. Identifies process improvements and work with key stakeholders to provide solutions and implement change. Assists in developing new procedures and systems to drive operational efficiency and quality of service. Performs other duties as assigned. Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects. Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines. Who You Are: You have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field is required. You also have 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or a related field. Previous experience in a managerial role preferred. You can maintain up to date, strong knowledge of NASBA, AICPA, Yellowbook, and other Continuing Professional Education (CPE) rules and regulations. You can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients. You have a high level of commitment to detail. You can work independently with minimal supervision. You can handle confidential information with discretion, as well as maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards. You can work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects. You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
