TRP conducts various healthy volunteer studies examining the effects of tobacco and nicotine products on human health. This position will be responsible for assisting with observational research studies. To learn more about TRP visit: tobaccoresearch.umn.edu Study Recruitment & Screening: (100%) Study advertising and recruiting participants Screening potential participants to confirm eligibility Scheduling, organizing, and conducting study visits Obtaining informed consent, data collection via questionnaires, and documenting all procedures Ensuring data integrity by reviewing questionnaires and following study procedures Assisting with processing biological samples for storage Providing timely updates on study progression to the program manager and principal investigators Qualifications Required Qualifications - must be addressed on the application BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years Ability to work onsite Detail oriented with exceptional organizational and planning skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiar with lab techniques such as pipetting and centrifuging Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the informed consent process Experience with REDCap Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva Experience with social media postings and other advertising Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $42,000- $48,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience Time Appointment: 50%-74% Appointment Position Type: Civil-Service & Non-Faculty Labor Represented Staff Please visit the Office of Human Resources website for more information regarding benefit eligibility.
