Position Summary This position is accountable for implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout all patient care areas. This position will design the DEI program strategy through collaboration with leaders across the organization. The position facilitates the continued creation of a supportive environment for professionalism, excellence, collegiality, and improvement that reinforces cultural humility and an inclusive environment that fosters and encourages psychological safety. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the mission, values, and goals of the organization. This position is responsible for aligning and incorporating workforce diversity through partnerships with stakeholders throughout the organization to support improving and sustaining DEI efforts. License/Certification/Registration: *Active Minnesota RN License required *Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) or equivalent certification is preferred Education: *Bachelor's degree in nursing required *Master's degree preferred Experience: *Competent in interpersonal/interdisciplinary communication, group process, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution. *Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple work deadlines in a constantly evolving environment. *Experience as a project manager leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across the organization. Desired characteristics: planner, program developer, outcomes-focused, project manager, self-directed, strong communicator, mentor to others, ability to influence without authority. The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. Children's Minnesota requires proof of COVID-19 vaccine, and as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), immunity to vaccine preventable infectious diseases, prior to employment.
