Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Line Quality Assurance (BLQA) Analyst responsible for the execution of quality assurance testing activities within Independent Risk Review and Assessment (IRRA), a second line of defense independent testing function.
The Analyst will conduct test preparation, test execution and identification of control and process weaknesses through testing activities related to technology, data governance, cyber, system and information security; Propose changes to business line procedures or controls to improve any process gaps; Maintain testing documentation in keeping with department's policies and creating comprehensive audit trails/work papers and assessing and documenting appropriate test conclusions; Ensure proficient knowledge of the operations of the functional areas; Monitor key risk indicators and emerging risks to identify potential edits or updates for existing test scripts/procedures; Perform routine to moderately complex testing and control assessment activities in accordance to the annual test plan; Identify control deficiencies and documenting test results; Leading collaboration sessions with the business unit to vet test findings and review testing results; Identifying and documenting the process to validate test populations and pull samplings; Utilize effective verbal communication of testing results to the BLQA Lead Analyst and/or Manager and for responding to and/or escalating significant risks as appropriate; Maintain accurate and complete records and preparing statements and reports; and Provide project and analytical support for medium projects and/or assisting with larger, more complex projects.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically more than five years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Basic or intermediate knowledge of technology, systems, data governance, cyber and / or information security risks as well as industry trends that impact Bank operations.
Basic or intermediate Risk, Compliance, and Audit competencies.
Basic understanding of the business line’s operations, products, services, systems, and associated risks.
Solid business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address risks.
Average process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills.
Average presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
Applicable professional certifications (e.g., CISA, GSNA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA) are preferred.
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00 - $120,120.00
