The Manager of Business Analysts is responsible for leading a team of business analysts who work closely with the application development teams and the business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and communicate the requirements for software solutions. The Manager of Business Analysts ensures that the business analysts follow the Agile principles and practices, and that they deliver high-quality and timely deliverables that meet the business needs and expectations. How you'll create opportunities: Manage and mentor a team of business analysts, providing feedback, coaching, and guidance on their performance and career development. Define and implement the business analysis processes, standards, and best practices for the application development teams, ensuring alignment with the Agile methodology and the business objectives. Collaborate with the product owners, scrum masters, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other artifacts. Facilitate and participate in the discovery, refinement, and validation sessions with the business stakeholders and the application development teams, using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, prototyping, etc. Review and validate the business requirements, functional specifications, test cases, and other deliverables produced by the business analysts, ensuring quality, completeness, and consistency. Manage and resolve the issues, risks, and dependencies related to the business analysis activities, escalating them as appropriate. Monitor and report on the progress and performance of the business analysis activities, using metrics and tools such as burn-down charts, velocity, etc. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business analysis practices and the Agile methodology, by soliciting and incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and best practices. Experience in the application development domain, preferably in the areas of web, mobile, cloud, or enterprise applications. Experience in working with various stakeholders, such as product owners, developers, testers, customers, users, etc. Experience in using various business analysis tools and software, such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio, Balsamiq, etc. What you will need: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst in the application development domain, preferably in an Agile environment. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager or supervisor of business analysts or similar roles.
