Ottawa County Public Works currently has an opening for General Laborer. This position is resopnsible for performing tasks involving physical labor and semi-skilled equipment operation at sites. This position may perform general laborer duties related to bridge construction or repair, as well as duties related to asphalt work and preparation. This position may operate hand and power tools of all types, operate light equipment, and may assist other workers, performing duties while maintaining safety of site for all workers and the public. This position will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about services and to handle and resolve any issues while delivering the highest level of customer service to Ottawa County.
