Job Description
- Grinds and blends defect areas on castings and blends welds to blueprint tolerances. Reviews x-ray/inspection paperwork, sketches, and blueprints to determine grinding requirements. Blends and reworks repaired areas to specified tolerances.

Essential Skills
Comfortable working in a physical position.
Mechanically inclined.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing 30-50lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous grinding, deburring, or buffing experience.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Mechanically inclined.
Manufacturing or construction experience.
Ability to train on another shift if required.
Experience working in metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, etc.
Hand and power tool experience.
Blueprint experience is a plus.

Work Environment
- Exposure to noise, dust, and fumes is possible. Grinding is done in a 'grinding booth' which is an 8' ventilated room. Grinders are exposed to noise, dust, temperature extremes, and fatigue, especially in forearms and hands. The environment can be loud, dusty, and isolated.
