Zoo Environmental Services Worker - Full Time Hourly Pay Range - \$17.10 - \$ \$19.05 Closing Time: 05/12/2024 @ 10:59 pm or upon receiving 50 applications Job Summary:Perform cleaning duties, floor finishing in Zoo buildings and grounds. Set up and break down of furniture for internal and external events in the Zoo\'s rental areas. Job Responsibilities: Cleaning - Work as a team member or independently to perform a variety of cleaning duties in public and office areas at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Items include but are not limited to: restocking, empty trash, cleaning bathrooms, windows ledges stairways, railings, furniture, signs, play equipment, etc. Set up and break down for events - Follow work orders to set up chairs, tables, risers, stages and podiums for internal and external events held at the Zoo. Ensure the space meets the needs of the customer as outlined in the work order. Maintain Floors - To sweep, mop, wax and buff all hard surface floors. Vacuum and extract carpeted floors.
