Senior Administrative Assistant

Location: Downtown Milwaukee

Position Type: Contract

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Salary: DOE

Overview: We are seeking a highly capable Senior Administrative Assistant to join our esteemed firm located in downtown Milwaukee. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel), adeptness at multitasking, and the ability to navigate various personalities with professionalism and tact. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and format compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive-level meetings and client presentations.

  • Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining spreadsheets.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

  • Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and other documents as required.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (minimum 8 years) as an Administrative Assistant or similar role, preferably in a construction or development company.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse personalities.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to take on new challenges and tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the construction or development industry is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of project management software or CRM systems is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but not required.
