JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: As a Research Program Coordinator I within the Center for Advancing Population Science you will have broad job duties including support to one or multiple research units within a center research program. In addition, duties include participating in community engagement, student engagement, regulatory and data management, statistical team support, and administrative organization. Primary Functions Community Engagement Serve as a liason between health systems and the community while building trust among socially disadvantaged, marginalized, or under resourced communities. Work with diverse populationsto schedule events and gather input/feedback on community projects. Assist faculty and staff in planning and conducting community events at community sites. Compile health education materials for community engaged projects based on national recommendations. Build community capacity by increasing health knowledge through outreach and community education. Practice community engagement skills, including community recruitment, community organizing and working with diverse populations. Student Engagement Serve as key point of contact for students applying to participate in summer and pathway research across high school, baccalaureate, post baccalaureate, graduate, and medical education. Assist faculty in developing, implementing, and maintaining education curriculum for summer and pathway research across high school, baccalaureate, post baccalaureate, graduate, and medical education. Serve as key point of contact for center wide educational seminars and planning events. Work with faculty lead to conduct evaluation of educational programs. Regulatory and Data Management Work with faculty lead to develop and maintain standard operating procedures for research implementation across the life span of a research project. Support data management for new and existing study protocols and funded research grants including survey development, research file development, audit completions for all study related files, data base and log development and maintenance. Support regulatory management under the supervision of the faculty lead for research submissions to the Institutional Review Board. Work with study teams to maintain research procedures across the lifespan of a research protocol.
