The Project Manager works independently and with other staff on system design, documentation and ensuring the timely and cost effective completion of projects. This position is accountable for results related to on time and on budget completion of projects including scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring for goal achievement. The Project Manager works with the VP of Bulk and Field Service Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans for resources such as inventory and equipment, all within project completion timeframes. This role will be responsible for monitoring or updating capital expenditure budgets while notifying Airgas management for new funds should budget accelerate. The role will coordinate tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with preparing and maintaining project documentation. The Project Manager is required to assist with system design, create piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCad or other enterprise system and verify process equipment matches the P&ID. The Project Manager is required to prepare all Management of Changes (MOCs) related to the projects and coordinate MOC execution and documentation. * Assists with design of bulk cryogenic systems and creation of piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCad or other enterprise system and verify process equipment matches the P&ID. * Prepares all Management of Changes (MOCs) related to the projects and coordinate execution and documentation of MOCs. * Assists with creation of Electrical Control and Instrumentation Drawings (ECIs) and maintaining an up to date library. * Responsible for project management involving the complex installation of Airgas equipment. * Maintains proper reconciliation of paperwork/electronic files related to all projects in a highly organized fashion. * Determines metrics of success for each project. * Establishes, monitors, and reports metrics for all project plan milestones as well as budget figures and compliance issues or findings to leadership. * Orders inventory and sources vendors for cost/ * Monitors necessary project staff scheduling and overtime levels in order to keep projects on time and within budget. * Prepares operations and project status reports such as cost tracking. * Maintains all data project requests and supporting documentation in a timely manner and within established quality metrics. * Escalates problems to the necessary leader or project owner. * Maintains 100% attendance participation at all safety meetings in an attempt to...
