JOB REQUIREMENTS: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking mechanically inclined & motivated Preppers in our Industrial Painting and Welding lines. 1st and 2nd Shift opportunities are available! Weld Prep grinding and sanding steel to prepare for blast and paint. Paint Prep - Taping off parts to be painted. Sanding painted parts. Sanding sanding and/or prepping steel/aluminum for the build process. Shop cleaning general cleaning and emptying of trash bins. The hours are typically 7am to 3:30pm for 1st Shift and 3:30pm to 1am, Monday-Friday for 2nd Shift. Willing to work with recent high school graduates!!
