Position Summary The Lead Computational Biologist will act as lead of the Bioinformatics Team of Versiti\'s Blood Research Institute. The Lead Computational Biologist will make meaningful scientific contributions to the research of a rapidly growing community of VBRI investigators, participate in teaching activities, and develop the Bioinformatics Team as needed to maintain cutting-edge and forward-looking computational competencies. The VBRI has identified bioinformatics as a strategic growth area and dedicated substantial resources to increase staffing in the bioinformatics core and recruit additional faculty. We are seeking an individual who enjoys collaboration and communicates effectively with wet-lab focused researchers. Prior experience in multi-omics integration is a plus.
