JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Category:FinanceSchedule:Full timeJob Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prepare, review and balance entries to assigned general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. Accounts include but are not limited to confidential payroll, benefits and accrual accounts working directly with the Human Resources department. Support month end closing process as needed. Coordinate all employee benefit related Accounting schedules and balances including cash reconciliation, accrual account analysis and 1099/W2 adder reporting. Assess and address company risk related to sales tax on purchases and expense submissions. Work with Corporate tax team and individual employees as needed. Assist Corporate Accounting Staff in merger and acquisition Accounting integration process. This position will also be required to complete special projects as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate\'s degree in Accounting or related field, and One to two years related experience, or Equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Excellent analytical skills Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external contacts regarding financial information Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
