Title: Interpreter Coordinator - Combined Courts Hourly Pay Rate: \$30.21 - \$ 34.99 Closing Date: August 1, 2024 Or sooner upon receipt of the first 50 application submissions. Job Summary: Coordinate and manage all aspects of interpretive services for non-English speaking and hearing-impaired individuals who appear before the courts. Review and evaluate existing procedures for obtaining interpreter services. Work with presiding judges of the Civil, Criminal, Misdemeanor, Family and Juvenile Divisions to resolve issues related to non-English speaking and hearing-impaired litigants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule qualified and experienced interpreters for all court/legal proceedings involving non-English speaking/hearing impaired individuals. Distribute schedules to all system partners. Respond to special requests, short-notice requests and other special scheduling demands. Review all interpreter invoices for accuracy/completeness.
