Production: health benefits commence on the 1st of the month after 90 days of employment

Principal Accountabilities
Completing predictive and preventive maintenance measures (including data entry)
Repairing and modifying equipment and systems, inspecting buildings, grounds and equipment utilized by the facility
Determining immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair work entering work orders utilizing maintenance computer programs
Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.
Completing, signing and returning work orders to the Maintenance Supervisor complete with: work description, symptoms, as found, as left, start/finish time, labor hours, deficiencies, delays, and job plan feedback
Perform work as assigned by their supervisor
Identify follow-up work required, work to improve the condition of all facility departments,
Work as a team member with a positive attitude, help promote and communicate maintenance and reliability to the organization, and
Perform other duties including housekeeping, attending safety training, and attending communication meetings.
Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
Following all Food Safety (HACCP), & GMPs policies
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Previous Maintenance experience
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Cargill experience
2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance/Mechanics
Experience using work order systems
Experience with the use of precision tools, fasteners, piping/fittings & valves
Experience cutting and welding
Experience working with packing, sealing or gasket products
Work history in the last 12 months
