Milwaukee County Department of Transportation Highway Maintenance Worker II -Temporary Assignment - Full Time Hourly Range: \$23.24 - \$26.90/hr Closing Date: 09/22/2024 @ 10:59 pm CST or sooner upon receiving 50 applications. This position requires the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. Job Summary: Under supervision able to perform unskilled or semi-skilled construction related labor in highway maintenance division on State, County and Interstate Highways. Job Duties: Equipment Operation and Road Maintenance - To operate various forms of construction equipment including but not limited to, dual axel and tandem axle dump trucks, milling machines, front end loaders, vac-alls, roller compactor, anti-icing units, sewer jetter, tar kettle, various mower sand bucket trucks.
