The FW Verification Engineer is primarily responsible for verification of the embedded firmware. This position will meet regularly with internal stakeholders virtually and in-person and may travel regularly, both U.S. domestically and internationally to Asia. Job Requirements: Design white-box software verification test cases based on the software design specifications of Sotera products Design white-box software or system level testing for verification of software mitigated risks base on the SW hazard analysis Follow Sotera's standard operating procedure for creating, maintaining, and executing verification tests Work with the embedded SW and system SW teams to review and improve on design of tests and product Work on automation of test cases and development of unit tests for embedded C language Execute qualification tests to be documented in detailed test reports and resolving corrective action requests when necessary Write all documentation related to verification activities in compliance with quality and regulatory standards to meet FDA requirements Provide support for customer issues Partner closely with the software, quality and design engineering groups to ensure components of the products meet or exceed applicable specifications and quality goals Other duties as assigned Must be able to travel by plane and/or car 25% of the time Foxconn provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
