Norris\' Group Care Programs provide treatment, educational, and therapeutic recreational services to youth ages 8 through 17 and their families. Youth receive services related to mental health, emotional behavioral disorders, problematic sexualized behaviors, AODA, and trauma, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect. Norris is currently seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Family Engagement Coordinator in our Group Care Program at our West Bend, WI campus. Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Family Engagement Coordinator (FEC) is responsible for providing direct services to families of youth in care. Additionally, the FEC assists program leaders, Clinical Supervisor, and the rest of the treatment team to ensure the therapeutic strategies are transferred into the home and community by providing direct assessment and skill-work with the family or other identified placement resource during placement and aftercare phases. The FEC is responsible for creating personalized treatment goals for families and ensures needs are addressed, trauma informed practices are utilized, and barrier needs of youth and families are attended to in order to promote sustainable results in the areas of safety, permanency, and well-being. The FEC will engage in specific skill-based groups and individual work with families and identified placement resources to create a smooth transition of care into and through the aftercare phase. The FEC ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families, and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Norris. The FEC position requires the individual is able to work a flexible schedule that is subject to change to meet the program\'s evolving needs at any time, which may be nights, weekends and/or holidays. The FEC position requires the individual to transport youth and/or families served in a Norris-owned or personal vehicle when needed.
