JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Marcus Theatres Position Description - Business Intelligence Analyst Broad Description of Duties: Design, develop and maintain strategic business information systems, including system requirement assessment along with the full development life cycle.Primary focus is on business intelligence development, information delivery mechanisms, data analysis and data integrity. This position reports to the Director BI Analytics. Essential Functions/Job Duties: *Maintain the operational integrity of the data warehouse and other reporting environments, responding to issues in a timely manner and participating in an on-call after hour\'s rotation. *Perform full development life cycle tasks including requirements gathering, detail design, development, testing and documentation for business intelligence systems and solutions. Provide a continuous focus on improving processes, data flow and the integrity of data. *Provide detail analysis of data issues and participate in the design and development of automated processes that enhance data quality. *Function as a problem-solving expert and escalation point for the business in regards to business intelligence solutions. *Create and execute queries upon request for data following support standards. *Build and maintain efficient data pipelines using SSIS and SQL. *Collaborate with application teams in the integration of data into an efficient data warehouse. *Perform data validation on new business intelligence solutions or enhancements. Work within the guidelines of the approved budget and timelines for specific projects. Prepare and present project status reports as requested by project leads and management. *Prioritize Theatre support issues in relation to other assigned projects to make the best use of the workday. *Demonstrate verbal and interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator and company representative. *Remain abreast of current information system trends and technologies and recommend technology to the business that will meet and leverage the needs of the business. Adhere to all of the personnel and application development policies and procedures of the division as well as the parent company. Education: *BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience is preferred Experience: *3-5 years of data warehouse design and business intelligence development experience is preferred *In depth knowledge of Microsoft\'s BI toolset is preferred: oPower BI Desktop and Service oSQL Scripting and queries *Experience with business intelligence data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) is preferred *3+ years of prior experience using business system analyst skills is preferred *Strong analytical, trouble shooting and organization skills *Requires excellent communication and team building skills Primary Location:Wisconsin-Milwaukee-Marcus Theatres...
