Description

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers a 6-month contract employment opportunity and provides a hybrid work schedule for flexibility. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing automated process workflow solutions, troubleshooting system issues, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and implementation of automated process workflow solutions using a variety of technologies such as Java, JavaScript, C#, SSIS, and Appian.

• Troubleshoot and triage system issues, escalating where appropriate to ensure seamless user experience.

• Implement business rules and enforce compliance gates to maintain the quality and security of the system.

• Manage the maintenance of forms and workflows in the production environment, ensuring optimal system performance.

• Act as a liaison between the business unit, stakeholders, and software vendors, facilitating smooth communication and integration.

• Provide training and support to the Business Unit, enhancing their ability to utilize the system effectively.

• Prioritize change requests and implement enhancements to improve system functionality and user experience.

• Follow general coding standards and best practices to ensure solutions meet appropriate integrity levels.

• Perform testing through manual and/or automated methods to ensure solutions meet functional requirements.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement and innovation opportunities within current technologies.

Requirements • A degree in Computer Sciences or a related field

• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript programming languages

• Prior experience in a network security role

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and business partners

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide a team

• Knowledge and experience with technical support and workstation support

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving network security issues

• Experience in compliance and quality management

• Familiarity with integration methods and implementation of security measures

• Understanding of business process functions and business units

• Experience with UX enhancement and onsite support

• Ability to negotiate and manage change effectively

• Knowledge of best practices in network security
