Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Locates all designated pallets per store and ensure the integrity of the pallets.
- Combines and condenses pallets as needed to fill the trailer.
- Follows proper stacking procedures that are consistent with food safety; cognizant of allergens and avoiding cross-contamination.
- Operates Powered Industrial Truck and Dock Forklift in accordance with all safety procedures.
- Properly places pallets on trailer in accordance with temperature and weight restrictions.
- Confirms all pallets for designated delivery have been accounted for and are scanned into the RF Loading system.
- Loads trailer in designated timeframe to meet shipping requirements.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). No prior experience required.
